Converting Files is Horribly Slow! / myLot

I like Quick Media Converter a lot but converting goes so slow. The thing is I don't know if it's QMC's fault. Tried converting an FLV file to H.264 and it converts with 2 frames per second. Is this a normal speed, or should I seriously consider using a different software? Which one?

I have tried the same software and its kind of freaking slow.

I downloaded a total of some five or six freewares out of which I use Panzera converter. It works the fastest with the least fuss. Happy mylotting!

my roommate gathers stuff up, and then sets them to convert after she goes to bed, so it has all night to do so - what does she use? no idea, what is she converting, also, no idea - I figure, what I don't know can't hurt me!
