Disappearing spell check? How to put it on again?

Hello guys, today i changed the laptop i work with. The new one doesn't have safari browser, so i had to use mozilla. Earlier i opened mylot and started to answer to the responses of my discussions, but in few posts i understood that the spell check is missing. It's pretty annoying that way, because i don't want to make simple mistakes, at the same time i am not sure for some words how to write them and i have to use the dictionary all the time. We downloaded the last version of mozilla firefox, my boyfriend said may be that's the problem, but no. Even with the last mozilla browser i have no spell checker.... Any suggestions how can i turn on the spell check again? Sorry if it's stupid annoying question, bust i just need it for here and i don't know how to do it.
