Ted Levine is an underrated actor

You may have seen him in several TV shows and movies and might not even recognize him but he is one great actor. Recently, he played Captain Leland Stottlemeyer on the TV series Monk. He does a great job there. The first time I saw him was in Monk and in the movie evolution. He also was in Mad City and Flubber. It's so hard to believe but he played the creepy Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs. It's really amazing how an actor an play two characters of stark contrast: a very creepy criminal vs a very lovable captain. Truly amazing!
