This about a lady dentist who has an assistant and constantly receive foul words from this dentist. Last week I to dentist to fix my teeth and have a cleaning. I don't have a particular dentist so I just search for one. I went to a dentist whom I had tooth extraction one year ago. I went back to her cause I felt no pain at all and she does the job pretty fast. She was about to go to a party when I ask her assistant if she is still there, she didn't leave and attend to me. On the process, she was constantly reprimand her lady assistant. She even called her a goofy in front of me. I pity the assistant, she was probably on her mid 30's that's why she don't deserve that insult. If I were the assistant, I would waste my time working there, humiliated in front of the client and every little thing you do is always wrong. The lady dentist, as a professional should act as professional too. I remember my previous superior who very much like the lady dentist. She shout at us even if we are talking to customer at the phone. Saying foul words and humiliate us whatever position we got and anywhere. So sad :( that there are people like this, seems uneducated and unprofessional.

Hi Laniekins!. I think your dentist has attitude problem. I think if people do it in front of me I will not comfort about it, maybe will never used thats dentist in the future. If she don't like how her assistant do her task why not find someone else to do the job. Acting like that in front of client really unprofessional.

Hello laniekins, Probably she had her reasons why she treated assistants that way. Like for example, if the professional had been nice to her assistant, there's a chance that she might abuse that good gesture as some of my friends had the same sentiment. I guess treating her that way probably kept her active with the dentist work since the dentist job is not walk in the park. so far, i haven't seen this kind of maltreatment from a dentist. But the dentist near our house had constant change in her assistants lately. though the first assistant that she had was a pretty. guess she had enough and had a bf or something. Unfortunately, even in the Government office, they do that, specially the higher officer.. When my mom complaint about her tax payment problem, she just shouted at her assistants to get it done faster. probably just make a good impression to my mom, whom actually got scared of her.

For it's just a simple/little mistake that she did, that can be said in the most nice way possible whatever the reason is.

Using foul words really degrading for one person, you know. But if the Dentist use it in professional way. I could take my fault as a good motivation to do good.

I don't think using foul language in a professional way is valid. You can make the words more pleasing if you are really a professional. I don't think you can say it in front of the client. If you can only hear it, you can't bear it.
