Inappropriate hair?

I found this video http://www.wisn.com/video/26157169/detail.html and thought Seriously? Kicked out of the courthouse because of his hair?!?!? I don't see anything wrong with his hair. If it's the way he likes to wear it so what? Do you think there's anything inappropriate about his hair? I mean when he gussied it up w/ the Christmas ornaments that was a bit over the top as far as trying to make a statement. I think the court should of been happy he showed up & not worry about his hair style. If it was that big of a deal I'm sure he could of smoothed it down for the time being to appear and court and do it back up when he left could of been a better option. And if you look in the last bit where the reporter shows a "dress code" listed on the wall it doesn't say anything about hair. Plus, I don't know that much of what was listed was necessary to post. It should be common sense to look as respectable as you in a courtroom.

Huh? I was watching the video really confused. His hair is not something specially weird, and I see no reason to be kicked out of court because of it. Maybe the people working in that court are extremely conservative, as that's the only reason I can find. I have never approved of dressing codes, as it's a really ridiculous concept having to wear "uniforms" in our daily life, but this is too much.

I didn't find his hair to be that weird either. And the saying in the back of his head those styles are coming back & it wasn't anything in ill taste either. I can see some reasoning for dress codes when it comes to decency. My kids are in elementary school and they have a dress code as well, no uniforms but things like skirts have to be so long, straps on shirts must be two fingers wide, clean faces, ect. Employers have dress codes too Though if you listen too he was told last time about his hair. So 2nd time around should not of been a surprise yet now it's media worthy.

I'd say that judge was just looking for something to be annoyed at...

some judges are really anal about what you show up in.we had a local judge who was famous for being nazi about court clothes.you never knew what he'd consider contempt if he was in one of his moods.

I don't and didn't see anything wrong with his hair either!!!! I am with you at least he showed up!!! And I saw the part about not listed on the wall either it didn't say anything about hair at all!! Some people just don't have anything better to do except find stupid things to complain about especially when it comes to people that run our courtrooms, for example like picking on this young man over his hair which I found nothing wrong with it!!! They let stars like snoop dog go in the court room, so w.t.f. why are they picking on this young man? It angers me!! Nothing wrong with his hair people I wish I could say to the court get a life!!! Well I totally agree with you and you have a good day!!

Though I don't think I would ever wear my hair the way that this man was, I don't really think there is anything wrong with it either. Heck, there are people that wear their hair in dreadlocks and that is quite a distraction. Then there was the kid that I went to high school with that had his hair colored differently every week and he was still allowed to go to school. All of that said, I think this man's hairstyle is minor compared to the examples that I've given.

I think its quite a crazy hairstyle to have. As long as it does not distract the people in the courthouse i think there's nothing wrong with it. I'm not quite sure is he even has any business to be in the courthouse or maybe if has was asked to make a statement in the courthouse he could have just made a simple hairstyle so that the people in courthouse may not feel like they are being made fun of.

I don't see anything wrong with his hair, although I couldn't read what was cut into the back of it. If a woman wore her hair like that she probably wouldn't have been kicked out, would she? I didn't watch the whole video, my pc is awfully slow right now because I'm doing a malware scan. Did he really put Christmas ornaments in it?! I agree that people should dress in a respectable way, business casual at least if at all possible. But ejecting a man because of his hair is silly.

hi while in ordinary life I would applaud him for being himself in court I think he should have modified it a little although seriously there doesnt seem to be a real law against his hair style and some women still wear those silly beehive hair dos and I have never heard anyone kick them out of a court house. I think really it is much ado about nothing. He seemed like a real nice guy and that was his thing, I think if he had been white he would not have been stopped. lol.

I agree that showing up is probably what's most important. Since when does anyone have the right to tell us what to wear or how to do our hair? As long as all their private parts are covered up, I don't see as there should be a problem.

i thought it was pretty darn cool/ i liked that hair. things like that makes us smile. the other day in walgreens though, there was a girl that just had ugly rediculous looking hair. a teenager had hair built way up in the front top, but then flat and long in back. i had to suppress breaking out in a laugh.

Personally, I don't like the hairstyle, but throwing him out of the courtroom? That is pushing it!! It is not in his eyes, it's obviously being taken care of, I mean it's not wild and dirty! Dress code to me, is no jeans and and sweatshirts.

Well his hair was something, but hey they don't say anything about the hair in the rules he is just getting into the holidays so that's all that really matters I mean it's who he is. I never knew that could actually happen though where someone is kicked out just because of their hair something new everyday in the news.

I saw the entire video and can't help but voicing my opinion. First of all the Huey was wrong with his neat doo. He could have abruptly removed the brains and had a wild look for court instead it was neat! I mean it is not something I would personally wear, but come on what was wrong with it. It was clean and neat, so what is wrong with this country, a person cannot walk into court with their own personal taste in hair. It was not like it was in anyways way and viewing direction. Of course the court house people had nothing to say, Ugh.. They know what they did was wrong. It was not even a distraction to say the least. Hello, he went to court neat, clean and maybe not to the courts liking but what are they wanting.. That he go in there looking like someone he is not. What happen to freedom in this country. So if I go into a court with my long thick hair down my waste would I be told to cut it, I beg to differ. Hopefully he did not get penalize for not appearing in court, he was there. Sorry venting in action.. LOL....
