Let it Snow!!!

Because of my particular disabilities, I haven't been able to shovel snow for several years. That duty has fallen to my wife and kids.. something that never really set well with me.
Now that all our kids are grown and moved out, my wife would be stuck shoveling all the snow this winter... something neither of us were willing to accept if we had any choice.
The choice for us was getting a snow blower. I'm glad we could afford one because it solved the problem.
The thing is, is it bad that I'm now hoping for a lot of snow so we can play with our new toy more often? :~D

No, you are fine. It is now your privilege to laugh at people who still shovel. Make sure you let it be known that when you are enjoying your snow blower and get the idea to do a neighbor's sidewalk, the rule is that you can only do a neighbor's side walk if they also have a snow blower. If your neighbor shovels, then skip them.

There are rules?
To heck with that, I have a new toy to play with, I'm going to PLAY! Of course, I hope they don't get too used to my kindness, because I have no doubt that when the newness wears off, I'll be a lot less inclined to play all day. ;~D

Take your toy in Europe. They badly need your help.

Nothing wrong with that. We all want to play with our toys.
The big question is... will you be doing the playing or watching your wife play? What does she have to say about wanting more snow ;)

With the snow blower I am capable of helping out again. Hopefully she'll have little to do with snow removal at our house anymore.

Hooray for you! Glad to hear that.
She can sit in the warm house and watch you play now.
Merry Christmas to you!

Unless, of course, she wants a turn with the new toy... but that's up to her.

No, it's not bad since by hoping for snow in your area you're not necessarily wishing it on mine...lol! I guess you probably got the hint that I'm no fan of snow. Anyway, I'm glad for you and your wife that you got your "new toy". I've often noticed that when you're prepared for something it usually doesn't happen so maybe you won't get to use it very often.

That's great! Both my neighbors have those and they are very nice so I rarely have to do anything with my sidewalks. One neighbor enjoys doing it and the other has his brother-in-law do it, I'll call the BIL Mike. Mike loves toys like that and was so excited when the snowblower arrived! He really enjoys using it so you're not alone in your anticipation.
I'm glad you were able to get a snow blower! You get the exercise of walking behind it while not overtaxing yourself.
My other neighbor who enjoys his snow blower makes a few hundred dollars per snowfall by going around the neighborhood and offering his services.
