SM M Place

As I was reading the paper today I noticed an ad for a condo unit currently being sold in Quezon City, Philippines. It was being marketed as a place for young professionals, and I thought to myself: "Well, this, looks like the place for me!" Kim Chiu was standing in front of the "display rooms" and the one on her right caught my fancy! It looked like it was decorated by some funky designer who had a serious hard on for the 70s! I also liked the simple elegance of the one on her left. Simple, Efficient. I wonder how big these units are. Condos are notoriously small and cramped. Looking at the displays it looks as if they're around 30 square meters. Approximate. They claim to have excellent locations, one near ABS CBN (in Quezon City) and the other one nearer to where I work (Ortigas). Both places give easy access to transportation, food, entertainment, etcetera! Just what a bored yuppie needs, places to burn money in. But for the more conservative, I hope they don't eventually turn into trigger happy spenders and party goers. The price is enticing too! 5,700 pesos for the one in Quezon City and 6,500 for the one in Ortigas. Sounds like a fair deal. Although you'd have to shell out money for downpayment and all the other fees. Seems too good to be true. But it is true and they are releasing the condos to the owners by 2013. So that's one of the setbacks, you'd have to wait. Construction is ongoing though. I might just go and check this out for myself and see if I should get one now or wait til I have enough to buy a house that has a yard. I'm currently calculating my funds to see if it'll be enough to get me one by 2011. I should visit the place and see what it looks like. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

The price is really enticing chip. But I am afraid to pruchase one. I am afraid I might encounter some bogus sales person along the way.

it's sm dude i don't think they have any bogus deals but if you're someone who's just like me, i'd go directly to their head office, that way you can be sure it's real. i'm planning to go there to check it out. :D there are other places to live in though which are more cost efficient :D

hi chipeserkhan that sounds really enticing but is it small, so many condos here in California in the US are rather small very expensive too.In fact California has become very expensive to live now and right now there is no way we could get back into an apartment again as my son has only a part time job.So I am hoping 2011 will bring some good luck to my son and myself.
