This is More about the Album cover photo than the Music within, here!
The Abbey Road pedestrian crossing near the London Studio where the band recorded, was made into one of music's iconic photos when the boys were filmed as they walked across the crossing in a line..Fans from all over the world visit London, and some Get to Abbey Road, and make their own photos on the crossing..
There's a live video webcam aimed at the crossing, and depending on the time of day,you can see fans making the crossing and posing for a photo..I started an earlier discussion when I discovered the cam!

One of the reasons I'm posting on the subject is that I recently learned the crossing is to be awarded monument status as a listed site,a consideration normally extended to architecturally interesting or old buildings..first time it's happened to a zebra crossing, that's for sure! Are you a Beatles fan? Got a copy of the album? ever visited and made a crossing in the Band footsteps?
Thanks for responses!

Lets see, I did the family trip in 1968.
I did the mom trip (lots of shows plus a trip to Stonehenge and Bath and another trip to Bransby Home of Rest for Horses in Lincoln - AND a full day of Sherlock Holmes) in 1995.
Then, the roomie and I did a Tomorrow People trip in 2003, the only trip outside the city was to Stonehenge (again for me) and Avebury.

How did you manage a day of Sherlock Holmes tourism? I'd call myself a Holmes Fan,but Visiting Baker Street to check out 221b is something I've not done despite several visits to My Brother and His Family in London..I'd previously read the address was that of a Bank Premises!
Are You referring to the "Tomorrow People" Scifi TV series? I remember that show..and I see the DVD box sets of it are available!

I wouldn't remember that much about the cast from that show, but I'd still recall the title sequence from it,and I'd remember "Tim" the Computer...
