Girl In White Bikini!!!

Apparently Britney Spears is on holiday and wore a white bikini. I think that I must be missing something. Why is the fact that an adult woman, on holiday and wearing swimwear, of any interest or consequence to anybody. Women have worn bikinis for years and white ones since at least the 1960s when Urusla Andress famously wore one as a Bond girl. However, just to keep in the mood or mode of the moment - p1kef1sh wears green corduroy trousers at home! I'm sure that it'll be all over the papers tomorrow. What trivial headlines have you seen recently?

No offense, Pike but while I think your green corduroys probably look pretty sharp on you, I doubt that they will be headline news. Why? Well, because your name is not Brittany, Lindsay or Brad. Them guys sneeze and it's breaking news. I'm not sure what the great interest in their lives is but apparently their mere existense is facinating for some folk.

There is so much useless information in the news nowadays that it makes me wonder if they do it on purpose to hide the more important things from us.
I can't remember the last trivia that I heard but we are certainly getting a lot of coverage here regarding Kate and William and none of it is worth knowing about - and there are still 4 months before the wedding!

If I have another cuppa there may well be an "accident"! The royal marriage to be has let up a little in the past week or two. I think that the pressh have been everywhere apart from her undie drawer. They are entitled to some privacy they're hardly the first royal couple to marry.

lol..quite a few...but this is the first I'm hearing about Britney Spears' white bikini :P
Our newspaper boy brings us a different newspaper each day (anything but the one we chose for NEWS)....now he has stuck to the one that most people here ask for...which happens to be full of Page 3 stuff. I wonder why they don't just name the paper 'Page 3' or something similar. None of the news is worth reading...especially the one's about the movie stars and what they are doing...and I can't understand what the NEWS is! An actress hanging out with her kids? Where's the news in that?

These "newspapers" are aimed at the lowest common denonimator in society. Unfortunately what passes for information these days is often little more than gossip. Britney Spears is a "star" and in the eyes of the media that makes what she does and wears newsworthy.

Haha, I love this discussion. What I love even more is the trivial National Enquirer/Star-type magazines who think that Jessica Simpson having gained 10 pounds should be considered 'headlining' news. I don't know why we have such a huge obsession with celebrities. I really don't care about Britney Spears whatsoever, especially not what color bikini she is wearing! I will occasionally read one of those types of magazines but not often. The stories are VERY trivial, it's almost like a joke.

too many to mention, but most are celebrities holiday fashion and how much money they spent for facial. it's boring.
I mean I know they have a lot of money, and I wonder why spending so much doesn't make them look better, so what's the point of writing about it?
I used to like reading about celebs but now I grow tired of these news since nothing new coming out of it
new talents are rare, that would be the only news I'd like to read in the future

Gosh, is Britney still newsworthy?
Sometimes it´s a great relief to be insulated from this sort of drivel. Of all the media, the news is the thing I miss the most in my self imposed exile from the ´real´ world. But I figure that most of it isn´t actually news anyway, and if something important happens someone will tell me.

She appears to be, at least wearing a white bikini anyway. Now if I wore a white bikini.... no, not a pretty sight! LOL. Much of the news is filled with this drivel - even the Daily Telegraph today had two pages about a woman going through a divorce from her millionaire ex.

LOL, there are many of times I have the TV on in the background while surging the net to find that all the cr@p being published for viewing. I really do not care that so and so wore what and on what day. Nor do I care what they paid for them.
I so not know why they think it is late breaking news so for today you may not read that this girl is still sitting here at 2:36PM wearing her jammies...
