Is Creative Thinking Dead?

Is technology killing creative thinking or is technology opening more windows for our imagination? It seems more and more people would rather be entertained rather than explore thinking up new ideas. Take a look at the Motion Picture Industry. How many remakes do they need to do over? Can't they germ up a new idea? Advertising is often suffers from the same anti originality germ. Commercials are reused, adapted ore stolen from other ad campaigns. Put a little spin on it and it's new, right? Now, Technology. I've seen more and more designers relying on the advances of tools and software tricks, rather than using fresh thinking to polish a brochure or Website. Tricks are cool and awesome, but what is being communicated is being shot by how it is being communicated. Is there hope for the creative thinker?

Lazy thinking along with more poor motivation, can be the cause of bad creative thinking. Brainstorming in groups of 2 or more people can help with creative thinking. There is a website that teaches a introduction to creative thinking http://www.virtaulsalt.com/creebook2.html
