This Gissi the Charmer

Tonight we are at the Hotel where my Daughter works as she is working till 11pm, so we are stopping the Night here
There are Guests coming in and out, he runs over to them, wagging his Tail and puts his cute Face on, and of course they are all fussing him, all we are hearing is.......Awwwwwwwwww look at him he is so sweet and they talk to him and stroke him, of course the little Man is in his element here, as soon as someone comes in he is there and of course everyone is charmed by him yes even the Men
He then does his rounds to everyone and when we call him back People are saying "It is ok we don't mind "
So again the Little Fellow is charming People and of course loving it lol
He also knows that the Door opens when he stands in front of it so yep we are having a nice Game
I took him out for a wee, thought he was following me and when I turned round he had ran back into the Hotel, Both my Daughter and her Colleague where laughing, he then ran up to the Guy at the Bar who was fussing over him of course
He then walked up and down by the Door so it would open and close, when I went to get him he ran of and hid behind one of the Ladies, everyone was laughing at him
But I will have to say for him he is certainly using Manners for a change lol
Do you think he would make a good Mascot for the Hotel lol

Of course he'd make a GREAT greeter for the hotel!!! 
Now that you've mentioned it, I think I know a better job for him!!! 
Seriously, I was watching a show yesterday about dogs for hospitals & nursing homes. Normally, they are trained before being used (& so are their owners). However, I do believe Mr Gissi is already well qualified!!!! It's a big thing here in the US. The owners take their dogs (or cats) to the local hospitals to visit with the long term care patients. They also visit with the local nursing homes to cheer up the residents. Gissi would receive a LOT of loving & with his ability to show off, the recipients would be given a very BLESSED day!!!! I remember when I was in rehab after my wreck, I used to count the days until the pets would be visiting again & it surly did MAKE MY DAY when they showed up!!!! Just something to think about Ms Gabs.

That is what I used to do with him when we used to visit the Lady who had Alzheimer before they took her away, she loved him so much and she always remembered him
She loved his visits and it always cheered her up
I wish there was something like that about where I live as I would love Gissi to give People joy and happiness

Oh Gabs...
Gissi does just that here on myLot. He entertains the entire myLot population which currently stands at 222,584 & we thoroughly ENJOY him!!!! There are a lot of little old men & ladies who would enjoy his antics also!!!

Oh what a cutie our little boy is!! Its great to hear of a hotel that welcomes dogs, for a change. we used to go for a long weekend, for a treat every year around about easter, but since owning our little dexter, we stopped doing that as our favourite hotel, did not welcome dogs, even little ones.
. Its sounds , any way , as gissi made every body welcome, what a lovely little character he is , Happy new year to you, gissi and all your family xxx

He was only aloud in because my Daughter works there and it was not busy over New Year, normally it is no Pet policy as well

gissi is definitely a charmer, doesn't he??? i bet a lot of the hotel guests must love him so much and he can be a good greeter and entertainer for the guests as well... your story about gissi never cease to amuse me gabs... i bet he will make a good mascot for the hotel... take care and have a nice day...

It seems People meet him and just love him
He is my little Star and always will be, it his personality lol I mean my Daughters Colleague sure was wondering why the Doors where opening closing and no one was coming in lol

Not only would he be a good Mascot, he could be the doorman. Opening doors for people who have their hands much too full, and giving them a happy doggy smile at the same time. I think you all will have a wonderful evening. He can pretend to be an employee, just for the night. You may have to have a special uniform made for him.

Happy new year to you and Gissi. Yes, it sounds like he was having a wonderful time at the hotel. Making friends and playing with the door. It is surprising he used his good manners the whole time. Koey would never have been as good as that.

I think you should dress Gissi up in a little red jacket with brass buttons, haha, so he can greet everyone all dressed up. I can just picture this, ha!
He sure is eating all this attention up and loving every minute of it. Then he'll be nice and tired for you to go to sleep tonight. I think he knows it's New Years Eve so he's on his best behavior, lol!

Ok Gabs I am getting jealous as Gissi is finding other Aunties and Uncles. LOL
I think it is brightening up the lives of many today who perhaps left their pets at home or with sitters. I knew he would be well behaved as I once telepathied in his ear to be good. LOL... he is so cute..

I think he would make a good porter. Nobody should wait for the door to open, and with his senses, Gissi will know when somebody is close and wants to enter the hotel, and he will be just there!
I think dogs are good hosts and it would be great if hotels had dogs as their mascots.
But, unfortunately, there are people like the lady I met the other night 
, and no hotel owner would risk loosing guests.

He is having a grand ole time. He sure is something, by the time you get him home his head is going to be swelled up so big, your not going to know what to do with him. He's the man, he has the charm and looks that go with it. The hotel could pay him to be a greeter. Gabs I wish you and yours a most Joyous Happy New Year, lots of hugs coming your way.

I don't think that would be a very good idea Gabs. His head would get too bnig and he would not be able to fit through the doors.
Mind you, there is nothing to stop him being an Honorary mascot and he could have a framed portrait photo with his paw print and title --- Gissi - Honorary Mascot for ******* Hotel - of course it would not have to stop at hotels either.

hi oh my watch out they might try to steal him away as the
Gissi the official hotel greeter. I can just see Gissi
eating up all the fussing and thinking look mum I am just
being so polite. Yes I think he thinks he is a people,lol lol
What a delight he is and I love him to pieces and we have'nt yet
met.I bet it was a lot of fun staying at the hotel where'

Hi gabs! Of course he would make the perfect "lil greeter"! I
bet the hotel would do an even bigger business!lol That's our
"Little Man"! Glad that he is feeling so much better and enjoying
his holiday. Hope you had a wonderful New Year's Eve, since
you get to have your's first! I have about 6 hours to go! Just

He is a little charmer isn't he? Bless his heart I can just picture him lapping up all the attention! He is such a sweetheart! I am on holidays at the moment visiting relatives and they have a little dog called Jack who, from your descriptions of your little man, reminds me very much of Gissi...A lovable little rascal you can't help but adore!
