Hi All, Recently I have started using Opera browser along with Firefox. I love Opera over Firefox because it consumes less amount of memory as compared to Firefox. However, the add ons in Firefox are of great help. One of them is Flash Block which helps to block those annoying flash ads. I am looking for similar add on for Opera as well. Is there any such extension available?

I dont know why you want or need to hide flash from working in your browser, but from your description, i just did a quick find and was given this link http://my.opera.com/Lex1/blog/flashblock-for-opera-9 . I personally did not try, but you might want to read up before you do. Hope it helps. Cheers and happy new year.

Since Opera 10.60 you can block plugins (not only Flash) from Settings (O button - Settings - Preferences - Advanced - Content - 'Enable plug-ins only on demand' option. In the latest versions you can apply this option per website.
