Mold and moisture

I rent a old home and sadly the landlord did not install insulation or new windows so we have allot of problem with cold and moisture which causes mold in many places in our home. We try to run the heat often but we have baseboard heaters and there not in the best areas. there is one in the bedroom and one in the living room. But we still get mold in the living room and in the dinning room. We also get allot of moisture in the windows. Does anyone have any good ideas to help fix the problem? We thought about getting a dehumidifier but we cant afford one.

I think a paint store can help with the mold eliminating paint. I think there is something you can get to add to regular paint. When you clean, try using peroxide, rather than bleach to remove the mold. Get some small fans to put in the places where mold occurs as it does not grow well where there is good air circulation. Do report the issue to county health if the Landlord will not help.

The mold isn't really on the walls it will grow on our furniture and belongings. I have already had to throw out a wood stand and 2 chairs.
