Anti spam or not?

The best way is take a quick look at the spam folder. Make sure that nothing important has fallen in there. Which it does happen but not all that often. I can tell by the title whether something is important or not. Therefore, I take a quick look, see if there is anything that I know that I need. If not, I hit that one delete button and move on with the rest of my day.

If you only have ten spam emails a day, it's easy to delete them yourself. But what about people who get hundreds? People with popular blogs or websites would wind up spending so much deleting spam they wouldn't have time for much of anything else. But that's what the spam folder in your email app is for. Nothing is thrown away until a certain length of time is up, or until you do it for yourself. It's easier to skim through the spam folder every few days to make sure you're not going to lose something important. If your email service has been putting something in the spam folder that shouldn't be there, you can change the setting for that address so that it goes in your inbox. Spam filters are getting better and better, and even though I don't get a lot of spam, I'm glad the filters are there.
