Anti spam or not?

We all know, spam is annoying and might be dangerous is handled improperly.
There are so many programs, filters and so that block the spams and send them to an special folder or delete them directly.
Here comes the problem, they can do a good job, but there is a risk of they doing a too good job. I mean, there is always a risk that they delete something really important for you in error.
So, for that, I prefer to directly not to use them, and disable all kinds of filters mails servers put. Spam is annoying and so is deleting 10 mails daily, but nothing to worry about really. On the other hand, missing a very important mail would be unaceptable.
What's your views? Do you agree that antispams could be worse than spam itself?
Are they good or bad?

The best way is take a quick look at the spam folder. Make sure that nothing important has fallen in there. Which it does happen but not all that often. I can tell by the title whether something is important or not. Therefore, I take a quick look, see if there is anything that I know that I need. If not, I hit that one delete button and move on with the rest of my day.

If you only have ten spam emails a day, it's easy to delete them yourself. But what about people who get hundreds? People with popular blogs or websites would wind up spending so much deleting spam they wouldn't have time for much of anything else. But that's what the spam folder in your email app is for. Nothing is thrown away until a certain length of time is up, or until you do it for yourself. It's easier to skim through the spam folder every few days to make sure you're not going to lose something important. If your email service has been putting something in the spam folder that shouldn't be there, you can change the setting for that address so that it goes in your inbox.
Spam filters are getting better and better, and even though I don't get a lot of spam, I'm glad the filters are there.
