Between your mother and father who has the most influence on you in life? Why do you say so and how did it influence your life?

Both of them. Because I sometimes realize that I have all characters from my mother and father.

Though I won't deny the fact that my father had a lot of impact in my life, it is my mother that had the most influence on my life and my becoming the woman that I am today. The reason that I can say this without a grain of doubt in my mind is because of the fact that my father passed away when I was a teenager and that left my mother alone to raise myself and my two siblings. I know that if it wasn't for my mother that I really wouldn't be the person that I am today.

Dare I say it. I wasn't influenced by my parents. I have always knew I could Never be what I Thought they wanted so I never was influences by family nor friends. The guys I looked up to were gangsters of the 30's and 40's. If I Had to pick a " hero" it would be Meyer Lansky, the man with the plan.

Both of them have equal influence in my life, and both of them make me who I am. Sometimes, I rather blame myself too rely on them. Should I learn to be independence sometimes. Because I am over 30 already, and I can't always rely on my parents. I should do something just for myself.

For me,is my mother. I can see my mom worked so hard for over 30 years already to a single company where she has been awarded so many recognitions of good work from the company, I would like to be as hard working as her.

I think they both influenced me in some parts, though sometimes different. For instance,i would learn from my father for how to make certain decisions at intense. but follow upon my mother how to make hard things easy. parents are my best teacher on being a man.

hi DoctorDidi my mom had the most positive influence on my life as my dad was a dour, easily upset man who was selfish and not to be bothered. She taught me to love others as well as myself and to'believe in God. When I would say something unkind to a playmate whe would rebuke me and t ell me, "If you cannot say something nice to your friends then do keep your mouth closed" and another was the Golden Rule she lived by it and taught me to live by it. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. this I still live by.

My parents did not influence me alot! They were not the best of parents! I was not nurtured like I should of. So I have struggled for years to get where I am with no thanks to my them! I did get a few things good out of my parents. I am always on time! My dad is but mom wasn't! I learned to be a hard worker! Other then not my parents sucked big time as parents!

I would have to say that my mom is a bigger influence on me then my dad is. I say this because my mom grea up dancing like i did and she also now works in a office and always has her life while she has worked and now i work in a office job. We both do much of the same work everyday and she has taught me more in life i believe than me father has. I look up to her because she cooks, cleans and does most of the chores around the house. She can get dirty outside as well with my dad and do the manly work as well and i look up to her and she has influenced me more in my life. She helped me more i believe growing up with school work and what not and also just influenced me to go to college and learn more things and she is influencing me right now to get a better job and to make some more money growing up.

My mother is the most influential as she spends more time with us the children than our father would show up in the evening for dinner and shelter and disappears the next day.
