Yes, it means that. Avoid responding to discussions that has a high probability of getting deleted or starting that has a high probability of getting removed. Read the myLot guidelines to get an idea of what good and bad to post.

Follow owlings advise. But I still take a risk with newbies, just to teach them if I have the time. I know the post will be deleted and my answer too, but I might reach them in time to tell them to go and read the rules of this site. Many mylotters come at first thinking this is a good site to promote their links. It is not: it is banned in fact. And so are many thing.
Welcome to mylot and DO read the rules. I had to read them several times to get them clear.
Take care!

Yes, you do, as once the discussion is deleted, all the responses are deleted, and no one gets earnings from it. You pretty much have to know which ones to respond to and which ones to just leave alone. I have had many of my responses deleted as well, and most of them, I knew would be deleted, because of a violation of the terms. I would respond to tell them it would be deleted, and I will continue to help those that need it. The thing of it is, there will always be deleted discussions, as there are those that continue to post mediocre discussions, or put links in discussions, as those will always be deleted. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

You only lose earnings from any response or discussion you made, and ended up getting deleted, otherwise you don't lose earnings. I hope that this has helped you. I know it can get confusing sometimes, but that is what we are here for to help you.
