would you invest your money in stocks?

my husband has money taken out of every paycheck for stock in his company. We usually make a nice profit on the stocks. we have had to cash out a few times but we don't get a penalty for it.

i guess with appropriate research on the market, i would personally think that it's a wise decision to make. how many of you would be contented with the pay that you are drawing from your company? standards of living is rising at a rate faster than the pay increment, if there isn't investments, most of the people are will be cash-strapped, not to mention afford luxurious items.
