Just because I don't agree doesn't make your opinion any less valid.

The best of friends, family, casual contacts are going to butt heads and disagree. However, just because I might not agree with your opinion, does not completely wipe out the chance that your opinion could be valid. We could both be right, just in different ways. Or we could be completely full of it. The thing about life is that there is never one completely answer that is a truth to anything. No need to get offended and act all disrespected because I have a different opinion. I could in fact be about as right or wrong as you will. Or you might be more wrong or more wrong. Still as long as you feel strongly and can back it up, perhaps it could add incite to a discussion.

That's right. Nothing is absolute in this world. What is the fact today might be false in future. What many people believe is true today might be a bad idea in future. Nobody knows for sure.
I did it several times, I mean disagreeing to a discussion. I just wrote what was in my opinion and from my own experience. Does not mean I am right but that was how I see it. So I hope others see that some people see things differently. We are not all alike.

Absolutely megamatt,
As I do see it daily, I often wonder if members could actually re-read the comment they may find some ring of truth there. At times I do not but after re-reading I do give the opposing thought a chance and find that some shed of light is there.
When I see no logic behind the comment, I simply wish the member well informed them that I respect their opinion and thank the member for contributing to my discussion and move on.
As two wrongs certainly do not make a right and really what is the point, as my motto here is that I have so much going on in my offline life to allow a spat on here to disrupt me more. It is a choice to be on here as no one is obligated, so sometimes we have to learn to take a step back and reconsider.
But then this would be a perfect world and no it will never happen.

When having a discussion with others there are many possibilities. We could both be right in thinking the same way, we could both be wrong, we could both be right in different ways and we also could have one person right and one person wrong. Opinions are that and only that though, we each have different thoughts and opinions and luckily we don't all think the same. We may not like someones opinion but we should respect what they say, this does not mean that we have to agree with them. We do not need to offend or criticise or cause problems for other people because we disagree with what they have to say, this is just part of life.
