Worst Movie Nominee Not Deserving

Okay, so I just read that The Bounty Hunter (starring Jennifer Aniston and gerard Butler) is up for the Worst Movie 'awards.'
I think that is totally undeserving! I saw this movie with my mother in theaters, and I thought it was funny. And I am a fan of both Aniston and Butler! I thought they gad great chemistry in the movie, and I thought they both did a great job with the movie. And I found myself laughing a lot during it...
I thought The Bounty Hunter was good, and I don't think it should be a 'worst movie nominee.'
Anyone agree or have relevant topics???

well it's a very typical rom com movie with cliche story, but I think overall it is enjoyable, definitely not in the category of trash movie. I think vampires suck is valid to become the worst movie of the year though, that movie (and all the spoof movie except the first Scary movie) are pointless and i cannot see how someone can watch it until it finished

yeah, all the spoof movies are just way to gross (sexually, language) I just haven't really enjoyed any that I have seen. I don't think I have seen Scary movie..I saw one of them, the one of the Signs aspect I think...but not the first Scary movie. And I didn't bother to see Vampires Suck.
I thought Bounty Hunter was enjoyable too, a like rom cpm's and I don't think this one disappointed.
Thanks!

It made me laugh a lot, so any movie that can do that is usually good in my book. Plus the A actors (in my opinion) only add to the movie.
Thank you

I never watched it but I saw the trailer I don't think it's that bad
I hope this has nothing to do with that old drama Jenn-Brad-Angie stuffs
Angelina Jolie is one of my favorite actresses
but it doesn't make me look down on Jennifer's performance although I have yet seen her in her best

I don't really know the criteria of most critics but I find their final reviews and ratings unreliable so I just watch the movie and decide for myself. I think Bounty Hunter was funny and it wasn't something that should be in the worst movie department.

I haven't seen the movie. You are entitled to your opinion whether or not people or an award category disagree with you. The criteria of a worst movie depends on many factors.
Just like different taste, a movie you like may not be deemed a good one to your neighbors or someone in your family.

I didn't see that one. Wanted to, but never got around to it. Anyway, taste is a very individual thing, and I seldom go by what the critics say (if its' negative).

I guess maybe the professional movie critics didn't like it. Then again, I never listen to them anyway. I watched it and while it wasn't a great movie, it wasn't the worst either. It was ok for what it was, just a screwball comedy. No better or worse than many other of it's genre. It wouldn't get my vote for worst.

I also haven't seen it but it couldn't be worse than Cyrus that film was totally awful, I remember seeing in the cinema and everyone left about an hour early. The bounty hunter is a film I too wish to see. The critics said Cyrus was good so I'm sure the bounty hunter can't be that bad if they thought it was good. Critics aren't always right thank god for that.

I really liked the movie. I thought it was very funny. If the Bounty Hunter was really like that I probably wouldn't like him but it is just a movie.
