World as a global family

I think it's not going to come because people have different abilities to make money, start them all equal, but in the end somebody will always end up richer. It's like a classroom of students, at the end of the grading period, somebody always excels. Communism tried to do this, the doctrine of Karl Marx and Frederich Engels tried to do this with government intervention and use of force but the theory just does not work, that's why China and the former USSR went on a completely about face turn!

Hi DoctorDidi, I really don't know what will have to happen to bring this about, or how far it will be into the future, but I expect it will happen someday. That it would be best for everyone is quite clear to me and I'm sure there are many others like me. The planet can produce enough for everyone to have enough and to spare of this world's goods. There is no need for anyone to be a billionaire while others go hungry. Personally, I don't think we have any choice, it's either change and get along with each other or face alienation. Blessings

No, I don't think that day will ever come. I think that people in this world are too selfish and have too big of egos to ever come together in any 'equal' distribution of wealth and no global family in any sense of the word. Back in my grandmother's day when people were decent and wanted to be of help to the world it may have happen. Not now.

It would be lovely my dear friend however with so many controversial issues in the world, I do not think it is possible. I can imagine many striving and wanting to achieve this but unfortunate it is an everlasting task that cannot be achieved.

Yes, I believe we will be since we are in the internet world, but we wont be in the truest sense of the word.

I am not pessimistic to say this is an impossible thing to happen. But this is not bond to be because man is born with greed and evil things in mind, heart and soul. If man could learn to clean up his ways, put his fellow above his interest and learn to folow God's rule and laws accordingly, then may be this Global world is meant for us!

hi doctordidi I wish it could happen but as long as we have people like the Islamic religious fanatics I do not think it will happene. we need to stop killing ea ch other and being mean to customs and cultures not our own and live in peace accepting all our differences and learning all o ur similarities. we are all human beings who want much the same fot our families.We could live in peace if we would just respect each other as we do here. it would be so wonderful. wow.

No, I don't believe this and it wouldn't be good either. We are not equal by birth, some of us have more talent and skills and some of us are born with less talent and there are cases when a person is born with serious handicap. And wealth shouldn't be distributed, it should be earned. Why should a lazy person have the same wealth as a person who learns and work hard? And the world being a great family cannot be realized, because we are all different from continent to continent, from country to country, from nation to nation, from culture to culture, from person to person. And imagine, how boring it would be for everybody to be the same.

I don't think so. In fact, equal distribution of wealth don't occur in a small family. So, why do that occurs in a global family?

Excellent dream indeed.As long as there is difference in human nature from person to person there will difference in possession of wealth.On what basis or reasoning do you imagine that there will be equal distribution of wealth globally. Even God has not bestowed all His children with equal abilities and qualities.I can never imagine a situation which you have visualised...

I do believe that will come true someday through hard trying and working. But we have to admit that it may be hundreds of years later due to the disparities of different places and their policies. It is really a good thinking and wish for the new year anyway.
