Here in Makati, Philippines, we always order buy 1 take 1 in Angel's Pizza.
I really don't know how they cook their pizza but to tell you honestly, I'd rather buy in this pizza joint than any other pizza joint in the malls that are very expensive but doesn't taste good enough. My personal favorite is Angel's style BBQ pizza.
How about you guys? Any local pizza parlor in your place that is not that expensive as the other ones but with great taste and price? Please share them with us.

Is this new? Where is this in Makati? I will try that as soon as I get home. Here in Subic, there is a pizza joint here that is popular to many. The name is Xtremely Xpresso. They have a 22 inch pizza for as low as Php650.

We have a similiar concept here whereby we get two pizzas for the price of one. There are alot of choices for customers to choose from, but taste wise, isn't as good compared to pizza hut. Much as i prefer pizza hut's pizzas, they are too expensive. My all time favourite shall always be hawaiian pizza and terriyaki chicken. I love the sauce on terriyaki pizza.

The reason why these specialized pizzas taste so good is because they are cooked the traditional Italian way like baking the crust in charcoal ovens for long periods of time some techiniques dating back to ancient Roman times. In contrast, pizza in the mall is "Americanized" Italian plus the element of fast food technology, ready made crusts, sometimes frozen are just heated in the oven, toppings are mass produced versions similar to canned goods, served fast, convenient and inexpensive but not as tasty.
