IS IT A RELIGION OF VIOLENCE OR OF PEACE? Some state that Islam is a religion of peace and moderation, "which is tolerant and encourages inter-religious dialogue for the benefit of humanity" when Others, particularly Fundamentalist Christians, believe that Islam is a religion of hatred and warfare

Holy Cow! Here we go again! Any religion is what you make of it. If you are a violent,non-tolerant person then you will turn your' particular religion into something ugly and violent. Vice versa, if you are a tolerant, peace loving person, then that is what your' particular religion will end up being for you. It's a choice.

if you really wont to know ISLAM you must do three thinks 1- read the holy quran (the holly book for all muslims). 2- read the history of the profet Muhammed. 3- read the history of ISLAM.
