25 Years ago today, The Space Shuttle, Challenger disaster inspired an explosion of jokes. Proving once again that Tragedy + Time = Comedy. ;~D ~What was the last thing Christa McAuliffe ever said? What does this button do? ~What color was Christa McAuliffe's Eyes? Blue. One Blew East, One Blew West. ~Why didn't the crew of the Space Shuttle, Challenger shower before blast off? They figured they'd wash up on the beach. ~How do we know this it true? Search parties found their Head & Shoulders on the beach. ~Where does the crew of the Space Shuttle, Challenger take their vacations? All the beaches of Florida. Feel free to join in! What jokes do you remember?

They made jokes about this? I didn't here any of them. Christa McAuliffe was a local teacher and a very popular one. I never heard one single joke. Sorry Ted but I can't find any humour in this one.

Arghles... Johnny Carson had a running gag in which he'd tell a joke about Abraham Lincoln, & invariably the audiences would sit on their hands. He'd pretend surprise, then turn to Ed & say, "Still too soon, eh?" And the audiences always broke up...then.
