Okay this is Texas here where I am and today I woke up at 5 a.m. planning to go to work but after all night of ice, snow, rain, I turned on the weather and they were saying all these schools and businesses were closed even the bus station was closed and the airport, so they were saying if you do not have to get out in this don't!!! So I stayed home and where I work it is me, one old man, and my supervisor a lady and our boss so tha old man never ever misses days no matter what so she called him this morning and he said he was not going at all!! So My supervisor called our boss and he got smart with her and told her "Let me guess no on wants to come to F...n work? Then he told her if she decided to go in to call him an hour before which to me means he was not even there! So she waited like 2 hours and star 67 the phone and called on of the phones at the desk and he answered I told of course he did you waited too long which is what I was thinking. Well anyway it is supposed to be 9 degrees here and wind chills below zero and my driveway is solid ice I really do not think I can get out of it, and My husband just yelled at me and told me whatever you make in a day I really don't care because if you go it is dangerous out there wrecks are everywhere and it would cost more if you were to wreck the car and the I called my supervisor and told her I am not coming again because I was yelled at and I think my husband is right more money to fix the car than what I make in a week!!It is supposed to be cold all week here and I have so many bills due and past due I really don't know what to do but to listen to my husband. Do you think he is right?

I think your husband is right. It would also cost your employers if something happens to you as well. The amount of money you may loss would be greater.
