Are the Muslims taking over the world,or at a minimum transforming Europe into Eurabia? Whatever your hopes or fears for the future of the world religions, a report published this week has plenty to stoke them.
"The future of the global Muslim population", produced by the Pew Research Centre based in Washington DC, reckons Muslim members will soar from 1.6 billion in 2010 to 2.2billion by 2030. In other words, from 23.4 percent to 26.4 percent of the global total.
If the present trend of Muslim population growth continues once Muslims will be the majority over all the world religions.

I respect all different religions. In my home country it is multi cultural and all different faiths are represented. Forecasts for the future could differ to what really happens. Really the future is a mystery and it can be challenging to predict. I think that the Muslim population will grow. If a baby is born in an Islamic family he or she will be likely to follow the Muslim faith for all his or her life. By comparison many babies in my home country are born to non-practicing Christians. It was horrific what happened to the Jewish population in World War II. In Asia I guess there are many Sikhs and Hindus. It wouldn't surprise me if the Islamic faith becomes the majority religion in the world in 20 years time.

Many thanks for the best response. I know that respect and understanding are very important for all different religions. I visited Jerusalem and saw the Dome of the Rock situated very close to the Western Wall. I hope that one day there will be peace in the world. It will be so interesting to see which is the most popular religion in twenty years time.

Yes maximas Islamic faith may become the majority religion in the world in 20 years time. The trend of growth of the Muslim population indicates that. But the majority or minority is no matter. Mutual respect is the main thing. Only respect for all religions can bring peace in the world.

Well they have done it before and can do it again. The one thing that makes me doubt this is the fact that they war between each other. What they need is one great leader to bring them all together. Some who claim to foretell the future
say he is already born. Of course if the earth has major climate changes, which is also foretold then all of human kind will be in a fight to maintain human occupation of this world. Only time will tell.
