You can't LOve any more..

I believe that every human has the capacity to love or to feel anything towards someone or something. As humans, we are full of emotions, may it be love or hatred towards one another. Even the toughest individual may love, loved or still love someone. It is just on the way of expressing it that everyone varies. If someone will tell me that they will not love anymore, I don't think I can believe them. It is because of the fact that I am sure they still feel something, they just chose not to entertain it or to ignore, even deep inside them, may it be love or hatred, the confined and unliberated emotions are consuming them....besides, the worst feeling that someone can have is to ignore it and be ignored...

This thing doesn't apply to me, Knight. Even if love hurts me over and over again, I will always in love with love. I don't know but it seems that I just don't want to turn my back on love and love is really a great feeling but of course, like everything else, it also has its ups and downs. Sigh.... There are people who can shut themselves out and turned their backs on love and always sulk in bitterness and anger. That's the reason why they can not feel love. When their hearts are occupied with other emotions, other than love (negative emotions especially) then they are not capable of loving anymore. This is the reason why we keep on saying to someone whenever he seemed to back down to open his heart and let someone in. But, just like you said, our brain has something to do with what we feel. And it is the hypothalamus that is responsible for the love we feel. Thus, love I think is all in the mind.

Personally I feel that one one can't love and or hate it is because they feel numb. Probably because they have been way too hurt and get to the point where as they are exhausted to hate and or love.

If i have to be honest, Letran, i don't believe there are people who "can't" love. For me everyone can do it, but for some of the people love is not at first place in their life - i had one really selfish boyfriend who had feelings for me, but still loved himself more than me Even the most rude and strong guys, pretending to be rational and going ahead with their head first and feelings at second place, even they fall in love some day when they meet the right girl, or if they meet someone who is interesting and teasing as a person for them. So that kind of talking, like "I'm a big, strong guy, who doesn't believe in love" or "I'm a big strong girl, who doesn't believe to fake feelings, because love doesn't exist" doesn't work for me The one thing i know for such people is that they has been hurt in the past and they are afraid to be hurt again, that's why the feelings are at second place for them and they are doing their best to stay away of other reasons for pain.

When humans were so tragically hurt a lot of times, maybe that's the time they tend not to feel or will not love anymore. But i don't think that is possible, because as humans we have our feelings and no matter how hurt we are we still long to love but not necessarily to be loved anymore.

If we were born without emitions,and the biological setting was the same as robots,we would a far more stronger civilisation,and we would beat our heads against the wall for a lot of problems concerning us and our planet.I don't know but you,but i'd rather be an emotionless tool,which would live forever,rather than express feelings like 6,9 kazilion people in the world

Letran- Are you familiar with the Sci-Fi series Star Trek? This is exactly what the Vulcans are about. They are a race that "bred" out (rather learned out) emotions. They simply learned to control their emotions beyond the human capacity and buried them deep inside. Their culture matches other such beings such as the Jedi in Star Wars, and the Samurai. It is not that the Vulcans were without emotion, it was that they learned not to "react". I think at times it can be a good thing. It is best at times to not react with emotion, though that does not equate with not caring or even not having emotions. It simply means we are in a rationale state of being. Namaste-Anora

hello LK, I agree that heart get tired of loving someone,but not tired of loving people around. You might lost love to a specific person,but you will never get rid of love. People claiming they don't want to love anymore,it's another kind of love. There are levels and kinds of love in this life,and it depends on each kind/level and situation. I can say that,i don't believed in true love to come my way,that is why i've learn to play with love (man-woman relationship). If i've come to met someone who says/claims he loves me..let it be,ride with it and dance with the music (that's it) But to say it's forever or hope for a lifetime (uhmnn...thought for a million times) Love will never fade in our hearts..it will stay,and forever will stay. have a great day dear bro...anD HAPPY HEART'S DAY
