Given the drop-out rate of students from our schools, what kind of programs or projects would like the Department of Education do for the Filipino youth to make them more integrated into the workforce? I mean, even if a youth cannot pursue or complete a four-degree course, an alternative means can be livelihood or vocational schooling. What other ideas can be applied to this situation.

For me TESDA courses should be updated and more scholarships to be given to the needy ones and that means more budget but a level that the government can still watch the moves of TESDA, since the government has found this a solution to help Filipino youths to have a specialization and a way to find a job and also the program seems to be effective since alot of youth nowadays try to enroll with various courses and classes that they offer. It really gave a much positive role for youths that cannot finish a four year course.

Teaching vocational courses to those who drop out in schools is the ideal thing to do. This would provide the basic skills that they can use as a livelihood. This would also encourage them to start their own business.
