Do You Join in Student Rallies?

I am currently working in the university where I graduated college. As of the writing of this post, a political organization in the university is holding their rally in the school grounds, making really loud noises and chants that could disrupt classes. I remember when I was in college or even in high school, I do not attend or participate in such rallies. I do not attend in said events because for me they don't always tell what is the truth --- they deceive students and twist the true facts. How about you? Do you attend in rallies when you were still in school?

Nope, I don't. I had a friend who was head of a language society during university days but I guess just a puppet for the use of others. Heard that he was under investigation for all sorts of stuff that he wasn't aware of. So there you have it

Hi zweeb82. Thank you for commenting. Did he graduate from his studies? With the scenario you have given, I think that organizations do sometimes hinder students from finishing their courses.

As you guessed, he didn't. He was really a nice chap but was used, misused, abused, or however you want to put it

That's bad. He must be disappointed whatever happened to him. Is he still under a the organization's control or he quitted?

Nope. I don't attend school rallies. For me, it's such a waste. I don't want to be in a large crowd and I hate loud noises that can disturb classes. And yes, I think you're right. They sometimes deceive students and twist facts that's why I don't like rallies. =)

Hi! Thank you for your reply. I am glad we have the same view point. I really can't understand why some people want to be in the rallies. Maybe it is their way of not attending classes hahaha!

no. i never attended such rallies ever until now on my last year in college. i think it's just better to stay quiet and just remain still rather than joining them. after all, nothing will change after they do that.
