yes, they really do act like this - except... they go crazy when it is on the ground... and they can't drive when the roads are good, you can just imagine what they drive like when they are less than good...
There was a little frozen damp stuff driving to Maggie's this morning, but I was there in plenty of time, unlike Friday when I got there late!
Just sharing a little Austin humor guys!

Oh, that's funny!!
If that sign was in Phoenix they wouldn't be laughing, they'd really mean it--they go nuts if they get a hard rain! If the sun doesn't shine one day everyone goes around with gloomy faces. I'm glad to be back in the Midwest! Although I'm looking forward to Saturday when it begins to melt, we'll have at least 4 days with temps in the 40's. Hooray!!!

Apparently they've got a foot of the stuff north of the border in Oklahoma right now. I'm sure they'd be happy to share!
This gave me a laugh and I've posted it up on my Facebook as well.

Actually, trust Texas to do it backwards... as often as not, it comes from the south when the cold comes from the north runs into the Gulf breezes carrying the water to make it snow.
One of the worst storms I remember gave us about 4 inches and left San Antonio under a FOOT of the white SH!T!

That is funny.....especially as a Canadian looking at it.
It is just a part of life here.
We make fun of places in the states who get 2 inches of snow and all hell breaks loose. lol
Thanks for the picture. A bit of humor this morning is nice.

That sign was funny but true. Up in the north we are used to driving in snow and ice, but the south seems to panic, and everything shuts down. I heard they had to bring snow plows and salt trucks in from other areas to do the roads!

I think I mentioned that I was in Houston during and ice storm a very long time ago...lol...it was scary. It's scary here too...LOL.
