Last Sunday me and my family attended the Mass and after reading the day's gospel the Priest began his Homily. His based his views on what's happening in our country. The payola and the corruption which is rampant then and uncontrolled now in our government involving top government officials. He said many are going astray picking the wrong path to amass wealth through crooked means and if found out, they practice "omerta" code of silence or the "esprit de corps" especially in the military . Many people are lure to this malpractices because many are doing it and some even goes away with it, so why not join them. The Priest stressed that with the widespread of disturbances the world is experiencing, he says the time is now for a change and it must start in us. What can you say guys, can we still make it right?

I believe so that we can still make a change. How? Through evangelization or spreading the word of God. We need to be an instrument for good deeds to those who are astray. Yes, it is tough because we can be criticized as insane or crazy, but to be persistent with what the Lord says is wonderful and can make a big difference.

Changing what we are accustomed or our habits is really a tough job.We have to make some sacrifices if we really want to attain our goals. It's like starting all over again.Yes, many have tried but failed maybe because they are not really determined on their cause. If we are really serious to make these changes we must have faith in God and He will do the rest. Thanks to both of you for the response

Truly, we lack faith because we worry so much. We are very proud and think that we can do everything. Change starts from us and everything follows. Do not underestimate Him for He knows everything.

Thank for your response... I agree with you, it is man's pride that brings him downfall- sometimes and he's led astray. If only we are more humble and have more faith in God, God will help us and never leave us. We also need determination...
