How often do you vaccum?

My dog shreds all the time especially in the spring and the fall so I vaccum at least twice each week for the carpet upstairs in the bedrooms. I vaccum two or three times in the living room. Besides, my house is very dusty for whatever reason , my husband says it is because we live close to the Ocean, that's why, but I forget what the explaination was. And I realized my dog sleeps on the couch when we go out, eveyrtime I come home, the couch gets all hairy... so I vaccum the couches as well. We used to have a large vaccum is for garage, I hated that one, it was so loud and heavy, recently, we bought a new one after we got the carpet in, much more handful now for my noodle arms. What about you?

We have carpet in all of the bedrooms as well as the living areas. The only carpet free rooms are the kitchen and bathrooms. I try to vacuum at least 2 to 3 times a week. It really depends also on the season and how bad the weather is and what is being tracked in... really it seems like I need to vacuum all of the time. I often catch myself spot vacuuming as well. The front entrance to the house gets the most foot traffic so I spot vacuum it frequently. I really wish I had one of those Roomba's!

I vacuum about once a week at the most, but it depends on what is needed. I changed the carpet in the living and dining room areas years ago and put floating floor. That has to be mopped or I can sweep the floor, depending on what kind of dirt it has. The worst dirt happens when I cut the lawn. Even though new lawnmowers have a sort of vacuum so that most of the grass is placed inside a bag, I still manage to get a lot of the grass inside the house.

You mean you use the lawnmower to vacuum the house?

No! What I meant to say was that my shoes carried the cut grass inside the house.

I have 3 cats. One seems to shed so much more than the other 2. I dont know why. But i vaccum almost everyday. The one that sheds more once had a favorite spot in the closet. Right next to my clean jacket. One day i pulled it out to go somewhere and found it covered with hair. Most my cloes are covered by those cloes protectors. But i guess they are not being protected by cats because they have chewed and scratched hole in them and sometimes my clothes too. Ived tryed trying the closet door shut till i accidently locked one of them inside so i figured it was best not to do that. They know how to open doors so it useless to shut them. I have a couple doors duct taped to kep them out. Thats termpory til i get some locks on them. But the big closet they somehow get in with out me noticing.

I have floorboards, tiles and carpets in different rooms in my house. I have two cats that live indoors so the animal hair can be found almost anywhere! I vacuum every week and I use a carpet sweeper every day. I despise vacuuming and with pets and children it is a thankless job that needs doing as soon as it is finished.

I probably should vacuum my carpet upstairs everyday because of my dog hair...

We only have a carpet in our front room of which it is only my boyfriend and I at our home and we rarely use the front room. So I vacuum, three times a week simply because I like to keep it extra clean even though the room is not being used much.

I have 3 cats that shed all the time. My three stooges seem to get hair everywhere. Even on the curtians where they get up to look out the windows. I vaccum all over everyday.

I got a Roomba for Christmas a year ago, so now I can vacuum every single day without spending more than five minutes cleaning it out. Then I just have to take the vacuum to the few corners it misses.

Im crazy and vaccum almost every day. The kids seem to always make a mess and the dogs do too. we put our dogs in the bathroom when we go out so they cant get in trouble. we have two small dogs so i dont feel comfortable leaving them in the back yard. Both are under 5lbs. When they shed it seems I have to vaccum everyday. At least it seems to be a little workout, especially vaccuming the stairs.
