I have just come to the end of my laptop's anti virus system so I got my brother-in-law to put a new anti virus system on my laptop. The screen of my net book got smashed on my trip overseas. So he kindly put a new screen in it. The only problem is my net book's screen stays lit up when I close it down. Therefore to stop it running the battery down I take its battery out. When I use it again I put the battery back in. I have got two different email accounts and one I find is very slow to load. Therefore I like to use the faster to load email account when I am traveling. What changes have you done to your computer, laptop or net book? Why does an anti virus system only last for one year? Do you bother to have more than one email account.

I have two computers that are exactly identical - one was my mother's, and we bought them exactly the same time, from the same company. The one I use - intensively - breaks down quite often, so the other one became a source of spare parts. I'm not sure if this counts as a "modification", since they're identical, but it's all I can do with hardware and not mess up things completely. I've tried doing upgrades by myself before and only ended up having to call in a specialist, so I'm not doing that again
