Weirdest Valentines cookies I've ever made.

My husband likes the cinnamon candies melted into apple juice jelly. I like oatmeal stovetop no bake cookies. So I combined them. They look like raw meatballs instead of no bake or any other type of cookies. They taste bland, too. Oh well. What kinds of things do you like to cook, bake, or have cooked or baked for you during Valentines? Did you have a nice Valentines?

Lovely Valentine's Day. We had cinnamon rolls and steak for dinner with sauteed vegetables. Very good. My daughter is really becoming a great cook. She used to fix alot of Hamburger Helper and I helped her realize we needed more vegetables and good food. Glad she took to it so well. hehehe

It does sound like a really good menu. Hamburger Helper is grossly overrated, and too full of sodium as well. On the rare occasions I use it, it will be one of the rice ones, and my family would just as soon I cook from scratch.

I made lasagna, but used chili instead of spaghetti sauce, and Mexican three cheese blend instead of Mozzarella. We had a raw spinach salad, herbed cottage cheese bread and ----ta dah No Bake Oatmeal Chocolate cookies. I got the recipe from Health magazine, and it is supposed to be a good "legal" snack. I am going to change it a little though. I think I put too much oatmeal in it. I used Dark Chocolate.

I keep trying to send things by pm but it just does not work. I should have had your personal information last fall when I went to New Hampshire. We could have visited. My problem with being a good cook, and enjoying to cook is that I also enjoy eating way too much.

Sounds scrumsious! If we lived close by, I'd be asking you if I could come over for left overs.

I wasn't with my Valentine this Valentines Day, so I just pretended it never happened really. My Dad was very sweet and posted me a card though. I recognise his handwriting!

When I get home my kids will have a few days off school so I'll get to spend loads of time with everyone. Tomorrow I have a date for a video call. I'm excited already

It was interesting. There were several different flavors within the dish I had. I am not a spicy hot eater and I was a bit nervous about that..lol..I have heard that Thai is a spicy food too. The waitress asked me though is I wanted it spicy..lol..my b/f said he did and you could see the sweat popping out on his forehead as he ate.

What a pity, because apple and cinnamon and oatmeal sounds like a great combination. Maybe something could have been added to intensify the flavor. I am thinking maybe cinnamon sticks or maybe cider. Just an idea...

It was still good, just very mild and we're used to more intense.
