best coop games in playstation 2?

hello. been playing playstation 2 for awhile. yeah, i know this is kind of old school to many of you, but it's the only thing we could have for now due to lack of funds. =). anyways, my girlfriend and i have played mortal kombat: shaolin monks, and our experience was indeed a great one, so i've spent some time searching for games to play. have played baldur's gate: dark alliance I and II, but i still am finding out which ones to play. we've tried xmen legends but it kind of resembles most of what we could see in baldurs gate (controls, gameplay, etc.) so i'm wondering what game could be best played with another player. we're not fond of shooting games, versus games, and those requiring high amounts of brain cell activity. just plain fun (mostly hack n slash) but without boredom factors.

Best games that are multiplayer are:
Tekken 5 for a platform fighter
Burnout (any one will do) for a driving/racing/destruction game
Timesplitters for a multiplayer free for all shooter
Conflict (again, any will do) for a co-op third person shooter game
Dynasty warriors (you get the idea now, any will do) for a co-op fighting game, this is actually really really addictive , multiplayer
I know i have given loads of shooters games, but trust me, the ones stated are really good, as it tekken.
Sonic riders, for just being kind of fun
The only other decent 2 player games i can think of you probably wont like much, but i would urge you not to get shadow the hedgehog. Its so terrible in 2 player mode its unbelievable, you both move too fast to see where you are going, let alone try to shoot or hit each other!
