daylight is here on march 13,2011 we need to move the clock one hour and ends up in november leave the regular time rather going back and forth it's waste of time they have to reprint the work schedule bus schedule etc. but daylight saving time is okay even I lost onehour of sleeping.

In my home country we too have the daylight saving time. It comes once a year to take the hour back by one hour and another time to take the hour forward by one hour. In summer we have long light evenings and in winter we have shorter days when it gets dark earlier. One time when I was working in an office I forgot to change the time on my watch. My colleague wondered why I went for lunch one hour late. It can be confusing at home if I think all the clocks have been changed for daylight saving but one hasn't been.

hi maxi, I wonder how daylight saving works. We have that in the 90's and we don't practice it anymore.

Hi. tikbalang56. I don't really like the new time change. I have lost so much of sleep just getting used to this time change. It is really depressing. I only like the fact that it stays darker longer rather than it getting darker earlier, since the last daylight savings time change.

Personally sometimes I have not seen the Benefits in doing this except for in the Fall when we get to sleep in the extra hr. It does not suit most workers working that shift when they loose and hr. and do not get paid for it either. Sometimes I would like to live in AZ where they stay the same all yr. round and not have to worry where everyone else is at.

We have the daylight savings as well. It happens twice a year, in March and November. It does get a little annoying at times, but it's not such a huge deal. Not for me, at any rate. I don't mind it that much.
