Colorado Representative Chris Holbert, R-Parker, has introduced a bill that would allow any law abiding citizen of Colorado to carry a concealed handgun without a permit. House Bill 1205 I am very excited about this bill and will continue to follow it. I highly doubt it will pass, but you never know. Alaska, Arizona and Vermont already have this in place, Wyoming is proposing a similar law. For the anti-gunners, please note - Vermont has NEVER required its citizens to obtain a permit. Vermont boasts the second lowest rate of violent crime in the United States. In addition, Vermont ranks 47th among the states in its murder rate.
