'...is the practice of acting, singing, talking and reacting, of making and creating, in the moment and in response to the stimulus of one's immediate environment and inner feelings.'
I just watched a theater performance by a group named "SPIT" (Silly People's Improvisation Theater). It was so fun, the members were really funny and won the crowd the moment they started. Their improvisation was great and I laughed so hard the whole time. Can you do it? Improvisation?

I'm afraid I'm not a very spontaneous person, so I'd find improvising pretty difficult, especially when it came to speech. If I were an actor, which I've never thought of becoming, I'd definitely need a script and a director to tell me exactly what to do. I find natural performers to be fascinating persons. I think that in order to be a good performer on stage, you have to be a performer in life as well, hence very good at improvising.

Although I don't think anyone can perform well without any practice. Those performers have been improvising for years and had gone in workshops.
.
Improvisation needs some particular skills and all actors can't do improvisation. I can't do any but I enjoy to be a spectator when a play interacts with the public and there is a part of improvisation in it
Thank you for your response.
