In a competition (in this dog eat dog world), can you trust your opponent? Do you think it's wise to or should you always have doubts to make sure your safe? Do you think the competition would be more healthier if we could? Is everyone your opponent?

I would trust his ability to harm me and be aware of the situation. We can't consider a smallest opponent as a weaker one because they are like computer virus a smaller one can do a lot harm to whole system and it needs just a sniff to get in.

No, not everyone is my oponent. No, I don't trust my oponent. Depends on the situation.

I never trust my opponent, just as my opponent should not trust me, but not everyone is my opponent.

Since we are considering opponents, I would say that it is not that I distrust my opponent, as unless they gave me reason to distrust, then I would not have any basis for the distrust. However since it is an opponent, then let's say I am cautious and watching the every move.
