Welcome customers base on their outside form

Hi All, Do you have some experience with my story? I often go to restaurants for eating with my friends or my colleagues or my boss to treat our partners. I realize that the waiters, waitresses welcome their customers base on their outside form. I and my partners went to restaurant in a car and good-looking clothes, they gave us a warm welcome and they would be served us quickly. I sometimes gathered with my friends from university and we worn simple. We went to restaurant with motorbike. We must wait for a long time to be served. And the waiters, waitresses were very cold. They made us up set!

I have never experienced this. The waiters probably thought they would get a better tip when you were dressed up. Sometimes college kids sit for hours and just have coffee or something and don't leave much of a tip. Maybe they gave you service accordingly.

Maybe you're right. But I don't agree with this thinking. I think that all customers should be treated in the same ways. Why I must get a cold attitude of waiters only because I don't like to wear luxury clothes? I want to be comfortable when I go to restaurant to enjoy food, not to show my clothes.
