I was chequing on the "shopping" interest and I noticed havainas. I remembered that I need new ones and decided to check them online. WOW!!! I had never seen more expensive havaianas! I can get a nices pair in my country for maybe $4 or $5. But the ones I saw were about $24! I think that now I have yet another chore to do before I go to Aruba. I want new havaianas but will not pay those prices online.
Do you check at the prices in your local store before buying online? Have you found bargains and not bargains at all there? Share!

What is "havainas"? Is it shoes of some sort? I guess I could go to a search engine to find out, but I'm lazy. I don't like shopping either online or offline. It just never appealed to me. I can never decide what would look good on me and I really don't like to spend money since I seldom have any. Talk to you later.

I guess you can learn new things even in old age (not that I'm all that old, but I'm starting to feel like it!) I have heard of flip flops. I just don't like to wear them unless I am at the beach and don't want to get sand in my shoes.

I guess it depends on each person, not on age. I have always used flip flops all Summer because my feet hurt with the heat. I have a vast collection of sandals, some of them over 10 years old, that I use to go out. I cannot wear shoes until Autumn. And then I can only wear them with hose.

I agree. I did buy my swimmingsuit online because they don´t have that brad in my country and no bathingsuit here fits me as I like it. But I´ll go to the super to buy me a pair of flip flops.

I like to compare so I will go online and compare and then go to the store if it is cheaper or vice verse. I am one to check all alternates before making my decisions on making purchases.
So which ever route will be cheaper for the same item is the route I pick.

I only buy expensive items when I know that nothing else will do. That´s why I bought this very expensive swimsuit. But it will last me at least 10 years.
