Hi! I watch Army Wives in my country but I guess we're still on season one. I don't know for sure because I started watching it recently and not from the beginning of the show. Actually what I've seen in the episode last night was that Frank decided not to divorce Denice on Joanne and Roland's daughter Sara's Baptism ceremony in the fort's church.
Don't tell me someone's going to get killed...

The "perfect" child is on TV?
I have said before, I like tv series. That is, the breakthrough discovery, I got to Army Wives, a show about the world of American troops, a sort of serial-sermon on family and national values ??which I think is somewhat relative, with The West Wing. If you liked that you'll probably like the track and this: are taken as seriously and the world is as idyllic and utopian way. But it's well done and you get caught, so I get to watch several episodes in a row and get acquainted with the characters.
Well, here comes my surprise. After two years of almost non-stop baby I can declare pretty good in terms of growth and development stages of a child and Army Wives is just one example of a film in which I is clear that the writer has no idea what it means to you a baby in the house. In short, one of the couples on the show has a child, a girl, which I consider wrong or delayed development, or a perfect child, absolute discretion and model good behavior.
In the first months almost always sat in the car seat, including when her parents went to a terrace and I know where the script called for them to bear an important question and it was handled with care, but a bit like a sack of potatoes: taken on the above, taken, put down without some stress that wakes up, he wants to play or just awful bored. The sleeper slept when and where the script demanded it, including the scroll on the heels of her mother in the neighborhood ... the light does not mind to sleep, nope, even her bedroom light on and the door is always open, we know a job: someone might want to an unexpected visit, eh, then simply enter the room and admire the baby sleeping with a lit light bulb overhead. And I remember how my scheduling hours life depending on the child's sleep, like talking in a whisper when you finally fall asleep, and as we walked slowly through the darkness of his room ... Pfff, silly me!
Now the girl has a year (I know, because I have been party: D) but no signs that it wants to stand and put their parents or some problem like this: always carry an arm or simply May 1 put down on a blanket when they want to illustrate a nice happy family scene. Let's say that you seem happy just to sit , even without intent to go to walk on all fours and to explore the world around you? And that her crib is still mounted to the upper level, one that scares every parent caring for a child one year may fall at any time standing there (it reaches to the waist rail) so that actually have cots Usually two of the mattress placement: top, as the child's small, easy to get to his parents and Down, for it begins to move / lift, that can not escape / fall ...?
Above all comes the fact that this girl does not speak. Hardly. Maybe a vague babble ... anyway, a year parents are struggling to make her say "mama", the idea that this would be her first word. Bon, may be so, but even not to put any syllable and to thank her parents to sit quietly in the peaceful arms around a year ...?? Even the little laugh ...
And I say I have a peaceful baby ... ha, dwarfing all parties escalated crib, standing at 7 months (ok, that was faster than usual), investigating the whole house with a walking speed de-the incredible crawling, pulling any napkin / fork / cup was in the range of appeal to a patio and no longer sit quietly dreaming in my arms when there were so many things to explore around. He opened and closed cabinet doors and drawers to thousands of them I was grumpy, he's de-rattle until I knew I my name, uttered his socks and insisted very diligently to do with endless laps around the house (bent me to keep the hands hold him while he practiced walking) until I run out of column.
So I'm sorry that I choked on popcorn when I see scenes like those mentioned above, my mother's reflexes into action and do not know whether to laugh with tears worked a series of budgets blown a few minor details or give me single heads against the wall because I grew up poor baby: D ...
I say just that, really, if we are something more clever, and I understand poetic license required a serial scriptwriting, but let's point out something: children on television are the most unreal. Including those who coo and smile some days when my mother makes them happy massage (not at first do not even know to look good focus and did not know how to smile) or babies who are born perfectly clean and wonderful (and fluent in two languages??, why not?).

Oh gosh no, don't let it be Roxy. I like Roxy as she is so cute and funny. I too will be eager to watch as it is one of my favorite shows along with desperate housewives.
I was so sad when she was not pregnant as she so wanted to be. We will have to update on another on the show, to keep up, with spoilers. lol
