Has Anyone Had Actual Experience With Using The Nu-Wave Oven, or Monteil Juicer?

It never fails, we are all bombarded with ads on the TV with those infomercials, usually late at night that are selling this gadget, that product, etc, etc, etc. I know most of the products sold on these infomercials are usually crappy and inferior and not worth getting, however, there are a few products that I can't help wonder about...the Nu-Wave Oven and the Monteil Juicer. Have any of you actually bought either one of these? Are they any good, do they work, are they worth the money, or are they crap too? For those of you who haven't bought either, are you as interested in buying them as I am? Just want some feedback about this, particularly those of you who have bought them

I wouldn't but it. The web site alone makes me not want to do busyness with them. I couldn't just close the page. I had to confirm that I really wanted to leave the site. That always pisses me off. It's something shady companies do to prevent you from leaving their web page.

I forgot to say. It was the oven that had the shady dealings, not the over priced juicer.

I got that same thing when I went to their website too, that is the pop-up asking me if I was sure I wanted to leave their site--oh, well

While I've heard mention of the juicer, I've never actually seen it. As for the oven, I haven't heard of it at all. My advice is stop watching late night info-mercials.

Pyewacket, I have a Nu-Wave and I love it. Everything cooks just like its shown on TV. The problem I have seen most people who have tried it and not liked it, is that they don't understand how to use it and get the temperature to high on them. I didn't buy mine. My mother and father bought it off the TV used it once, but didn't read the directions and over cooked their meat. They gave it to me and I use it on a regular basis. It comes in handy when you have forgotten to pull something out for dinner from the freezer. I use it at least twice a week. I am forever forgetting to pull out what we are going to have for dinner. Speaking of which, guess who forgot to pull something out for tonight's dinner??? LOL

I would really have to watch the oven one closer but I have boughtthe OrGrennic skillet just waiting for it to get it claims no greas or nything to cook with which to me would be healthy and it wont scath and flake like teflon does. I also want to get the 3 or 5 quart sause pan it would be so good for dumplins as the pot I use now they stick to the bottome and I have tried all kinds of pots!

Hey there Pye...Haven't heard of either one but then I don't really watch much TV. I use the micro, crock pot, or toaster oven for most my cooking needs and a cheap blender does just fine for my needs so wouldn't catch me buying anything pricey.

Well, i for one dont trust that much on tv signs, i rather use friends sugestions on what to buy, because the tv is meant for you to believe in that, and a friend review is more likely to tel the truth :D

I have never head of either. I change the channel if one of those adds come on. Sometimes it seems all I do is change. Our local news broadcasts on the 3 largest markets have a segment that tests products. One is called "Test it Tuesday" or "Dos it really do that?" They test products like that and tell you if it is worth the money or not. That helps a lot, the only thing is they only test one a week.
