I remember when I was young and shopping at a dollar store with my mother they had these big bottles of shampoo and it had placenta in it. I was so grossed out and asked my mother why anyone would want to wash there hair with it. Apparently its very good for your hair but ick I cant imagine anyone washing their hair with anything that contained another womans placenta. Would you wash your hair with a shampoo with someone else's placenta in it?

I unknowingly bought something like this, my daughter told me what it was. Well, I did use it and when it was empty I never bought it again. I don't think it made a bit of difference. Are these things still on the market?

I actually just did a mylot search to see if they still made placenta shampoos and sure enough there are a bunch of companies that sell placenta shampoo. Ick. Well they could have had my placenta I wasent using it for anything lol. It probably went to an incinerator for all I know and care. I think if like you I had used placenta shampoo I would have just throw the whole bottle in the garbage after throwing up first lol.

I think it was more of a leave in treatment--been so long I can't remember for sure. It came in three small tubes. Not really something I would buy on purpose. I read the labels if it's something I haven't seen before.

I was also wondering where the placenta came from. Are you sure it was human and not from a cow? And how can you tell for sure?

No I definitly did not buy it lol. I know online I see that companies still sell placenta shampoo but I havent seen it available in stores since I was little. This was at a dollar store when I saw it many years ago. It was so gross. It caught my attention because you could see something floating in the shampoo. Ugh I'm cringing at the thought.
