Hi rajiv I had done M.Sc in organic chemistry. Now working as quality control chemist in pharma company. From my experiance I can say job in qulity is much easier and safer than production. In production department there lots of precautionary measures and safety trainings going on though accidents are happened. So apply for the qulity engineerjob.

Thanks Sameer for the responce.. But i am going to Attend Interview at an Manufacturing Unit. Does quality job not involved in any danger/risk as we have to approve the quality of the manufactured products? In that case should i choose a QC job or QA job? Which is easier between these two??

I have this knowledge about pharma compony. In pharma quality control lab is obviously seperate from production plant and we just required to collect the samples of finished products from production unit and we analyse it in the qulity lab where not much risk is involved. And I guess in engineering related companies there should be a seperate department for qulity control.Between QC and QA,I will say QA jobs are easier as it involves documentation as main part.Best of luck for your interview.

Between the two, I would also say to go for Quality Engineer first, and choose QA. QC is for production workers. But the real work of engineers in manufacturing is better in the production. You get to solve more real world problems in manufacturing and will equip you to handle decision making and the gamut of what you have studied. Then you will realize a brief stint in QA will be worth your while otherwise you never understand why the QA folks are always breathing down your neck. Why not consider others? Like field support or design engineering? Those can be fun too.
