I got bit by a spider at work yesterday.
He tore me up good. My hand swole up & turned red. It's a good thing It wasn't anything terrible since it took an hour & a half to fill out all the blasted paperwork so I could go to the clinic. I get there, sit for another hour & a half ( thank got it wasn't too toxic or I'd be in trouble )before they could see me. Of course I had to pee in a cup for them...
Your drug testing me? Shouldn't you be drug testing the damn spider? They gave me a few perscriptions & now I'm on light duty for a few days. The swelling has gone away now & my hands only a little stiff. Still having a little difficulty making a fist but otherwise it's good.
Now when do I get my spidy powers?

It sounds like you already have them--you were able to patiently fill out an hour and a half of paperwork, and then wait for another hour and a half at the clinic, all without blowing your stack, so you clearly have developed the patience, and endurance of a spider. Plus, it sounds like you have developed some spidy strength, too, since you were able to do all of this while suffering from a severely painful wound in your hand!
Great story--and I'm glad you are starting to feel better, too!

You're gonna get it after 3 months, 9 days. I got mine just yesterday. I'm actually swinging through city buildings right now while typing this.

Just wait. Spidy powers coming any day now. Since you had such a reaction from this bite, be careful of another (I know...you didn't ask spider to bite you) as the next may be worse. I know about all of the paperwork, i.e. incident reports and such. You could have lost more than time if it had been one of those deadly brown spiders (recluse). Glad you're recovering.

Or maybe he needs to bite the spider back too? Then we shall wait and see if he turns into spiderman or the spider turns into manspider. I think both would be interesting. one a superhero, the other a super villian, then we will have a nice new comics story..Now who shall be the hero? The man or the spider? Hahaha.

I think you have some allergic problem. That's why swollen up in your hand when spider beat you. They diagnose your pee as you need treatment not the spider need.
Usually the spider is not so dangerous though some dangerous spider are available in forest which can lead kill any person. And as you have allergic so batter you be aywa from dusts.
Good luck!

Actually I'm not particularly allergic to spider bites. All spiders have venom, some are just stronger than others. I was lucky it wasn't a bad one. Had I been able to catch it & been sure I wouldn't have bothered to even report it. The possibility of it being a brown recluse whose venom could have literally made my finger rot off made me think I should say something to managment.

It has probably kicked in already. You should try hopping the roof top of buildings in the city of New York. (I totally joking. Please dont! D:)

Ah well, at this rate that's when they'll get the paperwork done.
