My friend works at an delivery export-import staff. He usually go out for working at airports or harbours.
Because some problems with customers, his company doesn't have works. So, he must watch movies when he goes to office.
This status has been continuing for a long time. And the director board has not had some methods to solve it. He feels bored. He wants to change company.
Should he leave his present job or not?

It depends on. If your friend has a good salary and he is the main person to support his family. Then it is better that he remains to work there. Or meanwhile he can look up a job if there is a good chance. Quitting it because of being boring seems to be not so wise at this moment because some people have a hard time to find a good job.
I love China

His basic salary is not enough for living expenses. He must get many bonus if he can work outside. But now, he must be inside company, he can't earn extra money. So, It's difficult for him to live with basic salary now.

Well is he still being paid while watching those movies? Then its the best job ever!
But if not then I think he should quit.

He's still paid when he goes to company every day. But this isn't happiness with him. He hates free time. He wants to work. I think he'll quit.

When i used to work full time in a hospital and working the overnight shift, there would be a big gap of doing something and doing basically nothing but i think this is just one of those things you do for work.
But If he can find another job, then sure why not!
but if it was me, if i am still being paid then no need to complain
