Comical things said at work

Well I got a new nickname a work today. One of the older gentlemen that I work with walked by today and said "Hey Ralph, how's it going?" I just chuckled and said Ralph??? So now that's my new nickname.
I think he likes the answers I give him when he ask a question, ie: What's up? Answer A 2 letter word indicating direction. Huh?? That one always gets people, because they're ususally expecting someone to say oh not much. So next time some one asks what's up say a 2 letter word indicating direction, or opposite of down, see what kind of reaction you get, it's hysterical.
Oh how about this: if asked what's going on, instead of saying nothing, or not much, try this "A whole lot is going on I just don't know what it is yet."
I like to try to come up with some off the wall answer to the questions that are asked just about everyday it throws people off and makes them think. Everyone always expects the same answer to the same questions. Think of something new to say. Instead of saying I'm doing ok when someone asks how ya doing, come back with great enthusiasim and say, "I am doing fantastic, how are you doing?" You just might be surprise at the reaction you get and also you may also just start doing fantastic.
Enjoy the day!

Hi. violann. Welcome to myLot!
Yes, you are right! It is always great to have a positive comeback when it involves others. It makes a person feel very pleasant around you, so much. I am glad that your coworkers see you as a sweet person.
You make their days of working so bright by your upbeat attitude. We need more workers like you in the workforce!
