I couldn't submit comments,why?

This happened to me, too. It was quite annoying as I had just written a long response and in a second it vanished. Now I see I can post comments but I still can't upload photos into comments. I hope it is something temporary and the problem will be solved soon.

I had the same thing happen when I finished typing one and went to post it. I tried about three times and nothing. So I saved it and went to another one and tried it. I didn't get a line saying anything. Just nothing. So rebooted. That seemed to help. SOmetimes the server gets over worked on a site. I have had that happen before.

Not very often, but sometimes there is a problem with loading stuff. There are also certain words or combinations of letters that are considered inappropriate in English. It will kick you out for that, but usually tells you which words are wrong by its measure.

Same thing happened to me early this morning. I just logged off and went to bed after I decided it was a myLot issue and had nothing to do with me or my computer. Looks like all is well again now.

I also experienced the same thing with you. I then, opened facebook, and asking friends MyLot on facebook, whether they experienced the same thing with me. But it turns out, I can not write on the wall MyLot group.

these lags happened two days in a row. I also have written a rather long comment that got vanished. I too was upset and cannot log out. I am happy now that mylot is back. Whew! i was afraid and thought that mylot was hacked :( thankfully its ok now..

Personally this is something that happens from time to time, and I feel there is nothing that we can really do. There are many times I have tried to submit a response or start a New discussion in here to have there be an Error to where it will not submit my answer or New discussion, and it can be quite frustrating. Sometimes it could be that the site is down and there is nothing we can really do except wait for it to come back up and try again then.

Oldsix691418, I am sure this is just another one of those occasional system glitch at the administration's end especially the server or bandwidth. As it had happened unexpectedly, there's really no way the admin could warn anyone of this. But, you can always report the incident when you are able to reconnect so that the technical support could investigate the lapse to see if repairs are needed. From experience, I would put off any retries if successive attempts does not produce any positive responses. So, take some time off and return back later would probably be best here.

I actually stayed up last night and was frustrated about myLot not working too! I wasn't even posting to a discussion - I was trying to send a private message to someone - and that didn't work either. But then, looking at the time of the last posting from my interests, I knew something was wrong - and that it wasn't. So after a few tries (just in case it was me), I just gave up and went on to some other sites. I've been meaning to check out other things too, so it not being able to get on here made that possible - hee hee.

I experienced that last night too.. I tried countless of times and tried to post comments in other discussions- but still did not work.. Good thing it didn't happen now. Maybe something's wrong with their server or something, but they did fix it already.

Hi dear, I haven't faced such an issue ever. It can be of few reasons like the myLot system maintenance, or any kind of short-time server issues, (which cannot be intimate to the people in advance) or any kind of such issues could be the reasons. However, I don't think that it lasted for long and now you may be able to continue, right? Also, if you restarted you computer and the problems persists, it is the same reason form the companies end. It's a glitch on mylot's part. I have faced it in the past even up till now. IT's normal. One lesson i learnt from it is, using the copy and paste function. I'm lucky i've gotten past 500 post and i'm able to paste whatever didn't go through initially. WHenever u are stuck with that, u can either refresh your page, or try logging out from mylot, before coming back again.

I also experienced the same yesterday. My posts were long and i keep on retyping them every time that notice says so. I was tired of retyping , that my head ached already. Hence , i decided to just quit from doing it and went to other networks. I am glad it's okay now. So i guess, everybody experienced this yesterday. I just hope it won't happen again.

i had been experiencing errors today, i cannot log in to mylot for many try this afternoon, maybe mylot that time is down for a moment maybe they are updating something in the system, just guessing.

There was a big problem with MyLot's server (or part of it). It appears to be sorted now. Perhaps Admin will come and tell us what happened (but don't hold your breath!)

I had the same problem this afternoon. I felt so disappointed and wondered what's wrong with Mylot. I am glad that this problem has solved now. What a good news:) I love China

It's not just you. I think there was a problem with the server. I could not post a comment or response for about 2/3 hours. I opened a tab for 'Recent discussions' and I saw that nothing changes. So I assumed that there was a problem. As soon as the recent discussions started giving updates and responses, I knew it was alright again. It is alright now. You can post comment or responses again.

It does seem to be working now so I also agree with everyone else that the server was having some sort of malfunction. Try again now, in case Admin pops in you can then inform if there is still a problem or not.
