Peter Steele of Type O Negative Dead at 48

anyone of you familiar with the band Type O Negative? Well what about their frontman? Mr. Peter Steele? he died at 48 years old of heart failure he was a towering guy at 6'8" and played bass while singing in that band had a deep baritone voice and really sad lyrics well i guess he was right about everything dies i will miss him anyone else know about this?

I wasn't really a fan, but my sister was, and as someone with dyed black hair continually fighting my blonde roots, she always said black no. 1 was for me. I remember her describing him playing a double bass strung on a chain around his shoulders like a bass guitar. and while I wasn't a fan, that's sad news. that's really no age at all.

yeah because of that chain strap i made one for myself and played a few gigs with it after about 20 gigs i couldn't bear the weight anymore i guess he could cause he was a really big guy

not the most comfortable strap I can think of, I must say. but the affect must have been amazing Kharma, double bass is the large, upright, wooden bass that is usually played upright
