The Red Bird Again!!!

I don't know what it is but this red bird is like here everyday now!!! I make a wish on him or her I don't know, I put bread and water out there and I feel like it is not enough? Do I need some kind of bird feeder or something? Why is this bird always here everyday? My cat passed away not long ago, and I had her for for 17 years!! Do you think it is a sign of reincarnation? Or is this bird trying to tell me something? Because this is the first time in over 10 years that this bird keeps hanging around! What is it? It is really making me wonder? And if you make a wish on the red bird does it really come true?

I've never heard of wishing when you see a red bird. If you want to attract more to your place you need to get some birdseed. Try sunflower seeds as I know that they like those. They eat other seeds as well but the birdseeds sold in pet stores are better. I don't think they can subsist on bread alone and I would be wary of using that because of the salt that is in it.

Okay thanks and I will look for some birdseed next time I go to the store but really you have never heard of if you see a red bird make a wish and wait until it flies away? It is supposed to come true just like making a wish on a falling star!! So if you see one make a wish and don't look b

Well, I would be wishing all day as there are red birds all over out there. The cardinal is the state bird of my state. They are beautiful. When they all flock to the feeder with other birds it is so busy that the feeder has to be refilled two or three times a day. We leave thistle out for the finches and sunflower seeds for the cardinals. The blue jays will come and raid the whole lot and run the other birds away. And squirrels like to join the raiding party too so it gets too looking rather like we have a zoo out there.
